About Us: Kitty’s World is a retail store that is part of a 21-year-old company. We are certified as a Veteran Owned business and Small Business. Previously had Pennsylvania offices in Harrisburg and State College and California, Arizona & Washington State. We bring value merchandise not easily found in traditional stores. Collectables such as Funko, BioWorld, Daniel Nicole; Pop Culture such as Disney, Harry Potter & Star Wars, and the rock group KISS. Plus, many other exciting weekly & monthly specials in makeup, electronics and more.
Job Description:
Office Administration: Manage daily office tasks, including filing, organization of paperwork, and other administrative duties assigned. Coordination with home office.
Social Media Management: Develop and schedule content for Kitty’s World on local and community social media platforms, engage with followers.
Community Outreach: Assist with planning and executing community events, partnerships, and sponsorships to build brand awareness.
Shipping & Store Support: Assist with shipping orders, inventory management, and general store duties as needed.
Cashier Duties: Operate Point of Sale system, process customer payments, provide excellent customer service, handle credit card transactions, and ensure accurate accounting. (We are a cashless company)
Stocking Responsibilities: Keep store shelves stocked and organized, restock products as needed, and maintain a clean and visually appealing store environment.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, maintain backroom organization, and ensure timely restocking based on inventory levels. Assist in fulfilling online orders for shipping.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous administrative and retail experience preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, operating iPad POS, and experience with social media management.
Availability: Must be available for shifts during standard business hours, with some flexibility for events and peak seasons.
